Jeffrey Broussard and the Creole Cowboys at the Camel: Everybody knows the Cajun sounds at Richmond Folk Festival are good for moving feet — not to mention elevating one’s mood.

Returning from Lafayette, Louisiana, zydeco accordionist Jeffrey Broussard has the heart of creole music beating inside him. You may remember him from the 2009 Folk Fest, when he proved why they’ve been called one the South’s hottest dance bands.

The show is Wednesday, Nov. 30. Doors open at 5 p.m., with a dance lesson at 5:30 p.m. included in the ticket price. The concert runs 6-8 p.m. Tickets are $10 with kids free. thecamel.org.

Editor's note: This entry has been corrected from the print version, which left off the date of the show. Style regrets the error.
