The premiere local festival celebrating cinema from people of color includes the Africana X Angry Black Female panel on opening night featuring clips from the highly anticipated new film, “Harriet,” which was shot in Central Virginia. On Friday, there is the Virginia premiere of the documentary “The Remix: Hip Hop X Fashion” with co-directors and subjects present, and a Saturday matinee screening of the acclaimed “The Central Park 5” documentary at noon at the Institute for contemporary Art that includes a panel and appearance by exonerated Central Park 5 member Raymond Santana.
