That Time Joan Rivers Interviewed Gwar 

Joan Rivers was known for her sharp tongue, but how does she stack up against Oderus Urungus? (Hat tip: @tedikuma on Twitter!

Luckily, the Internet has preserved the answer for us in the form of this clip from Rivers' 1990s daytime talk show in which the comedian sits down for a chat with two members of Richmond's bloodiest band.

If you get a little misty watching this clip, you're probably not alone. Rivers died Sept. 4 from complications following throat surgery. And Dave Brockie, the man behind Oderus' battle armor, died earlier this year after an accidental heroin overdose.
