Stylish Mothers Turn Heads This Season

Avoid wearing clashing colors or identical outfits by coordinating them with the bride, the bridal party and each other.

As long as the outfits are different, mothers of the bride and groom can wear the same color, if they’d like.

Choose colors wisely. Don’t wear white, which is considered an exclusive color for the bride, or red, which can be too bold.

Follow the wedding party’s lead regarding the degree of formality of a mother’s outfit. If they’re dressed to the nines, than moms, you should be too.

Start looking at least six months in advance to ensure plenty of time to find the perfect dress, have it ordered and/or altered.

Opt for something with simple lines that is versatile enough to be worn again. No need to save such a great look for just one
