"Jitney" Sycamore Rouge works with the African-American Repertory Theatre for August Wilson's series of stories of the black American experience during the 1970s as told through the passengers of a makeshift taxi company. Performances continue through March 12 at the Pine Camp Cultural Arts and Community Center and Sycamore Rouge in Petersburg. $18-$22. 957-5707.

"The Last Days of Judas Iscariot" The Henley Street Theatre and the Richmond Triangle Players take part in the 2011 Acts of Faith Festival with Stephen Guirgis's hypothetical court case behind the Bible's ultimate act of betrayal, in production through March 19 at the Richmond Triangle Players. $15-$20. 1300 Altamont Ave. 340-0115.

"Legacy of Light" Barksdale Theatre presents last season's best new play from the American Theatre Critics Association. It follows two women from different centuries: a real life physicist and courtesan to Voltaire, and a present-day astrophysicist grappling with motherhood and intellectual pursuits. "Murder Rides Again!" The Mystery Dinner Playhouse performs a murder-mystery comedy against the backdrop of the Wild West at the Crowne Plaza Hotel with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. through June 18. $42. 6531 W. Broad St. 649-2583.
