With so many St. Patrick’s Day festivals this weekend, you’d think Richmond’s sister city was Dublin. There are three — yes, three — huge Irish celebrations in which to gleefully immerse yourself on Saturday, March 14. There’s Shockoe Fest in Shockoe Bottom, Shamrock the Block on the Boulevard and the St. Paddy’s Palooza at Innsbrook. All of them are free, feature overflowing pots of revelry, family-friendly options and a cornucopia of Irish delights starting at 11 a.m. In addition to the festivals, Irish music celebrations are happening at the Tobacco Company, Siné Irish Pub, Carytown Cupcakes and other party spots that will have you singing and dancing till the wee hours of the morn.
