Finally, the premiere of the documentary by Jerry Williams about one of Richmond’s most legendary and memorable characters, Donnie Corker, aka Dirtwoman. A highlight of this year’s Richmond International Film Festival, the premiere will feature a Q&A after the film with guests and an afterparty at Gallery5. And if you’re wondering about the colorful title? When Donnie was a child, he suffered from spinal meningitis, but his mother couldn’t pronounce it. “Spider Mites of Jesus,” was used instead. Tickets can be purchased at rvafilmfestival.com.
