Since forming in Chapel Hill in the early 1980s, Southern Culture on the Skids has been delighting audiences the world over with its infectious mix of rockabilly, R&B, surf and raw country garage. The core trio featuring Rick Miller, Mary Huff and Dave Hartman is a true, twisted Americana original with plenty of humor, something sorely missing from much modern music. Fellow swinging genre-jugglers, the Judy Chops from Staunton, open the show. Music starts at 8 p.m. $17-$20. thebroadberry.com.
