When your band is named A New Dawn Fades, you're aware that that all good things must come to an end. After six years of making experimental and improvisational music, Nathan McGlothlin and PJ Sykes (along with touring member Melissa Sunderland) will call it a day after their Saturday, April 26, performances at Plan 9 Music in Carytown (at 2 p.m.) and Toad's Place (at 8 p.m.). The group is known to take the show from the stage into the audience, bringing do-it-yourself instruments along and letting anyone get in on the act. It's not just the band's last show, it could be yours as well. The Plan 9 performance is free; the concert at Toad's Place is $5. 648-TOAD.
