I know we live in the post-truth era, but sure do wish Tom Robinson would cut out all the "alternate facts" about this building. All his stories about its antebellum adventures, the hangings, the connection to the Capitol Disaster, all that crap is untrue. The building was built in 1883, not 1849. There were no hangings in the firehouse. The only shootout was when a food stamp office at that location was robbed and a Richmond policeman shot and killed - and that in the 1970s.
If this building is sold with the buyers being feed this stuff, it verges on fraud, Tom. Cut it out.
