If you can’t move to the immersive rhythms of Afro-Cuban culture, then you better check your pulse. Brought to you by Claves Unidos, Dogtown Dance Theatre and a cinema partner, the Afrikana Independent Film Festival, this is a full day of events starting at noon and running until midnight, with live percussion, chants, stories and movie screenings. Food trucks will be on site, and each event has a separate cost. You can see all the events and start times on the Facebook event listing.
