Screening of “Before Stonewall” at the Byrd

Presented by Virginia Pride 2019 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, when drag queens fought back against police on June 27-28, 1969. The documentary “Before Stonewall” uses archival films, movie clips and personal recollections to examine this pivotal moment in gay history. Admission is $4. 7:15 p.m. byrdtheatre.org.
