Sound Arts Richmond presents “Score for the Big Bang” by artist Ander Mikalson in collaboration with Professor of Astronomy Dr. Mark Whittle and Pulitzer-Prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw. A combined chorus of the Handel Choir, Third Practice, VCU Commonwealth Singers and members of the Richmond Symphony Chorus under the direction of Erin Freeman will perform the work. The evening will also include an artist talk by Mikalson and a lecture on Big Bang harmonics by Whittle.
