Journey through the grasslands of Inner Mongolia, a land on the furthest edges of China, with a concert from Anda Union. Arrayed in stunning traditional Mongolian clothing, the nine-member group creates unforgettable rhythms with throat-singing and traditional instruments including the morin khuur (horse-headed fiddle) and the maodun chaoer (three-holed flute). As with all nomads, the Mongols have an oral culture, passed on from generation to generation in stories, music, and songs and thus, Anda Union sing their history.
