I could not agree more with you Eddie. The issues you brought to light should be obvious to everyone, especially the Planning Commission. But as the old saying goes, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. I'm afraid we have a lot of thirsty horses at city hall. Everything about this design is disgusting. It was created to gain public approval with it's over dramatization of unnecessary landscapes, unrealistic color tones, and people milling about as if in awe of the statue. It is all simply fluff. After twenty five years of living at this intersection, I see this as a new hang out for street people, pan handlers and drunks, all compounded by major traffic congestions.
