Re: “Burning Down the House

What strikes me as so comical in the board's story is that they blame Carol for activities that were not undertaken or goals not achieved. This is coming from a group of people who have proven they are quite capable of achieving quickly and surgerically whatever they choose yet they act as if they were helpless against this woman they paint as incompetent. If you as a board wanted the Nationwide building so badly ( for instance) why couldn't you take the same draconian methods to achieve that as you did to oust carol? The words and deeds do not add up.

Re: “Burning Down the House

I, Robert Throckmorton, no longer have faith that the Firehouse Theatre Project (operating under its current board leadership) is able to produce theatre worthy of my support as a patron, contributor or artist. In light of the recent contempt the theatre board has shown to the community Firehouse serves and that nurtured it for 19 years, I look forward to supporting, instead, the theatre that will blossom in other and new destinations that has artistic integrity, expertise and humanity. Count me among the population that will no longer attend productions or contribute to them financially or artistically.
