SURVIVING LIFE is three stories that explore the challenges of growing older while trying to keep up with a fast-paced world. In “Cookie Ladies,” an elderly woman tries to outsmart a hustler, while at the same time trying to convince her son that she doesn’t need to move into a nursing home. In “The Snowman,” a woman loses herself in memories of her late husband and their life together. And in “Take an Umbrella, It’s Raining,” a wife takes her husband who is suffering from Alzheimer’s to celebrate their fiftieth wedding in the same hotel where they honeymooned.
