Father’s Day Keg ‘n’ Oyster Fest at Hardywood Park Craft Brewery: It’s the fourth annual celebration of beer, oysters, crab cakes, music and all things righteous in this world. The Tin Can Fish Band — rockabilly, surf and blues — takes the stage at 2:20 p.m. 12:30-6 p.m. hardywood.com.

A Day Trip to Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden: If your dad enjoys the outdoors, Lewis Ginter is offering a weekend of relaxing fun with live music and a cookout, plus crafts for kids. Cost of admission includes “Wild Art: a Journey Off-Canvas” and “Butterflies Live.” Sunday features live music from the Jangling Reinharts at Bloemendaal House from noon to 3 p.m. lewisginter.org.

“Field of Dreams” screening at the Byrd Theatre: So the old man is a baseball junkie? He probably likes this Kevin Costner movie then — it’s the baseball version of “Hoosiers.” 7:15 p.m. byrdtheatre.com.
