Join Richmond Ballet’s Minds in Motion Ambassadors (5th-8th graders) for a performance that tells the tales of Anansi, the Spider Man, from the folktales of the Ashanti of West Africa. Anansi uses his cunning ways and intelligence to prove his worth, overpowering creatures much larger than himself. With respect for his accomplishments, the Sky King bestows all the stories of the world to Anansi. Anansi releases them across the earth, creating a vast web of stories, uniting people who may seem far apart, but are all a part of Anansi’s web and Anansi’s story.
