Race to Nowhere

When: Mon., April 9, 7-9 p.m. 2018
Price: Free.
On Apr. 9, "Race to Nowhere" will be screened. The film highlights the widespread culture of fear and pressure that has infiltrated our schools, creating an epidemic of student anxiety, depression and disengagement. Says former CBS news anchor Katie Couric, “This film is a poignant reminder that straight As and high SAT scores are not the holy grail. We all want our kids to excel, but I’d take a happy child over a depressed success any day of the week.”
