Dead Fame

Unless it involves children or animals, I really don’t care what consenting adults do in the bedroom — unless I’m one of those adults. There are far too many people who still care, though. That’s why we need Queer Matter, a benefit show for Rosmy featuring performances by local bands Toxic Moxie, Dead Fame and My Darling Fury on Sunday, Nov. 16, at Strange Matter. Founded in 1991, the advocacy group’s mission is to ensure equal opportunities for all Virginians regardless of sexual orientation. All you really need to know is that this trio of thoroughly impressive Richmond bands is worth checking out if you haven’t seen them already. With whom they choose to fornicate is none of your business. The festivities commence at 7:30 p.m. Suggested admission is $10. strangematterrva.com.
