Re: “Architecture Review: The Potterfield Memorial Bridge Gets Close to Walking on Water

I always enjoy Ed Slipek's writing and his opinion and this article is again outstanding. The bridge is wonderful and will continue the city's transformation and re-engagement with the James River and the Riverfront. Let's please not stop here, bring on the next riverfront project!

Re: “The Carillon Neighborhood Celebrates Its Historic Designation For an Uncommon Reason

Great story, I had no idea of this history. I've gone to Byrd Park, The Carillon and the Pump House for years and always admired this community, but this article has shown me new reasons to appreciate it. Thank you

Re: “The People's Pets

Great reporting and storytelling, thank you for this article Ned. I appreciate the effort it must have taken to dig through all of the old newspapers. I miss that newspapers once had the duty of being the "newspaper of record."

As for squirrels, I didn't know that they were this treasured and exotic in an urban environment. I don't value them in the least.
