Alison Krauss at Funhouse Fest in Williamsburg (Friday, June 22)

Funhouse Fest in Williamsburg (Friday, June 22, and Saturday, June 23): Curated by Virginia's Bruce Hornsby, this musical party on the lawn features singer Alison Krauss on Friday, the Virginia Symphony Orchestra String Quartet, and Hornsby and his Noisemakers, while Saturday includes Amos Lee and the Wood Brothers. Single-day tickets still available, see funhousefest.com.

The Feelies at Cat's Cradle in Chapel Hill, N.C. (Saturday, June 23): An excellent live band that recalls the primitive fury of Velvet Underground, had it been a savvy '80s college rock act with catchy pop hooks. Plus they've got bitchin' new songs and don't simply rely on fan favorites. Greatness. $20-$23. 8:30 p.m.
