Flippo Gallery presents “A Life of Art”, an exhibition of concrete & metal sculpture & furniture and selected 2-dimensional works by artist Charles Sthreshley. His work reflects a number of themes: the culture’s growing dependency on technology, significant events affecting both the broader society and Sthreshley’s immediate community, and his time growing up in what is now the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The opening reception is Sunday, February 19, from 3-5pm.
Flippo Gallery is located on the Randolph-Macon College campus, 211 N. Center Street, Ashland, VA 23005.
A Life of Art continues through March 31. Gallery hours: 10-4, Monday-Friday
