Re: “Soup to Nuts: Seven Things that Drive Richmond Restaurant Critics Crazy

What's reprehensible is this clickbait posing as an actual article. If you're so desperate for content I would suggest going out and finding something interesting to say about the variety of restaurants that aren't often covered. Everyone can complain about the basics of the service industry until they are blue in the face, but it doesn't support local business and it is certainly not constructive. It also shows zero understanding of the business that these people claim to be valuable judges of. One person doesn't want to be asked if they want more wine while the other wonders when they will finally ask! Oh the drama! Want a new Latin food option? Open up a restaurant! Want info on the ingredients on the menu? Ask your server, that's their job! Too proud to ask? Well, you're a food critic spitting this kind of garbage as "things that drive you nuts.."-I guess I shouldn't be surprised that the idea wouldn't cross your mind. Someone needs to hold up a big mirror and ask all in collaboration of this, do you really take yourself that seriously? I guess it's good for you that Richmond is tiny, so you can remain "important" and continue to add "value" to local culture. EYE ROLL. Last word- Can Can brunch was unbelievably good, and that was the only "quote" that wasn't just a privileged whine.
