Nightmare on Grace Street Mix Release Party This Saturday

Cassette comp features a finely curated selection of local delights

If you haven't heard this yet, there's a great new compilation of local rockers performing spooky music just in time for Halloween.

"Nightmare on Grace Street" is available for download or as a cassette release with a download coupon from fine local record stores (Steady Sounds might have some left, but they were going quick). Regardless you can download the songs from bandcamp or pick up your own copy at the release party this weekend at Strange Matter.

From Cherub Records:

"Nightmare on Grace Street" is the brainchild of three friends with a love of Halloween and local music. All songs on this collection were recorded in Virginia. A limited number of tapes will be available for purchase from Hope For The Tape Deck and at our release show on Saturday, Nov. 1 at Strange Matter.

Here's a song listing:

1. Diamond Center - Skeleton Key

2. The Blue Rajas - Gimmie All Your Candy (Or I'll Burn Your House Down)

3. Grass Panther - Shadows Blind

4. The Green Hearts - Milla Jovovich

5. Hot Dolphin - Lady Werewolf

6. Paul Ivey & The Rubes - Riothead
