The fact that the land was given to the seminary by Maj. Lewis Ginter in the late 19th century for creating a place of study -- not construction a money-generating enterprise that has been rejected by its neighbors -- is the very opposite of stewardship. What's to stop UPSem from building this apartment complex and then packing up to consolidate operations at its more viable Charlotte, N.C., campus, leaving Northside to deal the consequences?

If the seminary wants to tear down its antiquated student housing and build residences for students/student families, that would be an excellent thing to do. But that's not really what this is all about...
