Re: “Mouths of Babes

Poor dining experience!
I believe that STYLE MAGAZINE sent one of their people who believes that cold Domino’s pizza for breakfast is a delicacy to review this resturuant. Trust me, I have ate at some of the best restaurants in North Carolina and Virginia and I was NOT impressed with the meal that I had. I had the home-made chicken salad on a croissant with pasta salad. One of the best pasta salads I have ever had was at Southern Seasons in Chapel Hill NC and so I'm spoiled but Kitchen 64's pasta salad had too much olive oil and very pungent taste not appealing in the least. The chicken salad though good presentation with large slices of pickles and tomatoes it had very little flavor. It seems that the cooks (I would not call these guys "chefs") used only the sundried tomatoes as the main seasoning and forgot the essentials like garlic, tarragon, even salt and pepper. My second bite I had a piece of griddle or bone. About 30 minutes after the meal, I was sick for the rest of the evening and didn't even eat dinner. Though my boyfriend enjoyed his roast beef with aujus sauce and sweet potato fries which were boring cus when you make sweet potatoes fries you have to sprinkle lightly with sugar and cinnamon, I will think twice stopping by this eatery and move onto Carytown.
