Re: “McAuliffe Loses Big on Felon Rights Case

"If you know you could potentially lose the right to vote, then why commit the crime that makes you a felon? Actions have consequences, no matter how hard liberals want to try and get rid of the notion of personal responsibility."

Awesome oversimplification of criminal behavior. I'm sure the next time someone is about to commit a crime, due to them not being as fortunate as you, they'll stop and think, "Oh golly. I shouldn't do this naughty thing because I might not be able to vote! Yeah, that'll reduce crime for sure.

Re: “All Richmond Area Martin's Stores Up For Sale

Well there you go, folks. After making big promises when it bought Ukrops, Martin's has slowly but surely been eroding most of what made those original stores so beloved. Now, in one fell swoop they're going to screw whoever is a remaining employee, and give Richmond a nice big jolly "Hey, so fuck off, we're done." Let's hope the merger fails to pass, and people start to boycott all Ahold-owned (aka, A-hole) stores nationwide. Give your business to Ellwood Thompson's, Trader Joe's, Aldi, and yes, Whole Foods.

Re: “The Next Stone?

How great is this, Richmonders get to foot the bill for enticing another out-of-state brewery to move here! Sure, we could be using those millions to pay for better teachers and improve services, but what's the fun in that. We want our craft beers! Well, I mean, only if they're from out-of-state, of course. Thank you Mr. Mayor!
