They've taken First Fridays, and now they're claiming Second Saturdays. Soon Richmond's galleries will control every day of the year, and invent a 13th month, Warholgust, and there will be box wine and snacks in bowls for every meal. But that's still better than Secretary's Day. Visual Arts Studio celebrates the art of the surreal with its closing reception for painter Oliverio Corrales' "Andean Traditions in Ecuador" Saturday, March 10, noon-6 p.m. Corrales' works deal in the myths and traditions of indigenous peoples, joining the ongoing Civil Rights/Human Rights mail art project in its exploration of how people live today. My Son the Doctor performs at 4:30 p.m. 644-1368.
