Deveron, my apols, I think I was too quick to mention the little details. You guys are always spot on and I've always been the benifactor because of the Style reviews; always finding the niches and haunts I otherwise wouldn't. Contrary to what a lot of folks think, your job has its many demands and involves much more than the average reader is aware of. MJW

Just a little FYI regarding Accanto:
The oysters are not served with a shooter of moonshine, but they are served with a shot of peach nector puree infused with bacon and fennel; a non alcoholic accompaniment that pairs well with the mollusks.
And not that you were far off in your description of the interior design, but there are no counters or countertops in Accanto. However, there does exist a dozen or so aggregated concrete table tops, and a concrete bar.
In addition, while giving your cursory description of the restaurant and menu, I do think you missed the obvious by not mentioning the literal translation of the restaurant's name. 'Accanto' means 'next to' in Italian, which is why it's called Little Venice Accanto.
You Style columnists usually get it right but I wanted to clear up a few things just in case some folks thought we were serving up 'moonshine' over the 'counter', 'next to' Little Venice. MJW
