It’s easy to defend liberal, it takes guts to defend conservative.

Liberals would throw a fit if students were assigned “The Camp of the Saints” (by Jean Raspail) or “Alien Nation” (by Peter Brimelow).

These are good books. Practically all R rated movies are trash and it’s a proper purpose of school management to protect their students from trash.

Who decides what’s trash? In a private school it’s the management which is directly beholden to the parents. In a public school it’s the school board which is only indirectly beholden to the parents. The school board gets paid directly by the state, only indirectly by the parents (and other taxpayers). Because the school board is somewhat insolated from the parents they are not as responsive as they should be. For the early grades it’s best to homeschool.
