Beth, I agree $16 is steep for a burger. Only unless you grind your own meat, house make your buns, mayo, mustard, etc, cooked to temp (or just nice & juicy), and of quality size..... Then hell yeah I'll pay $16 for a burger!!! Saison has a super tasty burger and if I am not mistaken it's $17. Which---with my frugal self (yet addicted to balanced drinks & friendly banter with knowledgeable bar tenders) is known as the "I just got paid burger" between a few of us industry folks.
