Hey guys yall dont have to take it like that. Im sure what Karen meant was that there are bitters that are made alcohol free and while I have a sister in recovery (who I make mocktails for) its still scary for them to trust anyone 100% unless they know for sure the brands that are safe to use. This article wasnt a mockery of peoples struggles. Its an article to recognize that we as an alcohol driven industry understand its not healthy and were making steps as a city to provide the same dining experience for everyone without the pressure of alcohol.

Beth, I agree $16 is steep for a burger. Only unless you grind your own meat, house make your buns, mayo, mustard, etc, cooked to temp (or just nice & juicy), and of quality size..... Then hell yeah I'll pay $16 for a burger!!! Saison has a super tasty burger and if I am not mistaken it's $17. Which---with my frugal self (yet addicted to balanced drinks & friendly banter with knowledgeable bar tenders) is known as the "I just got paid burger" between a few of us industry folks.
