Come learn how ancient genomes have dramatically changed the understanding of human genetic history. Dr. Melinda A. Yang joins the Science Museum of Virginia for a fascinating discussion on how genomic data is providing an extraordinary glimpse into our past. Dr. Yang will focus on her research into the genetic history of East Asia and how the sequencing of genomes dating from 12,000 years ago to the present day has helped to fill in missing pieces of humanity's story.
