Letter: Road Notes Resonate

I love being surprised and delighted, so I want to thank Hilary Langford and Brent Baldwin for putting together two pages jam-packed with profound life wisdom and hilarious travel tips in "Road Tested: What Have You Learned on Tour?".

This rubber meets the road — or should I say, "the van will break down" — picture of artists' struggles and adventures shows how hard they work. It shows how they press forward to do their art and what it takes to get their art to the people. To make music travel ain't no trifling, easy-to-do thing. Maybe that's why it's so powerful when it all comes together.
