The nonprofit, launched in 2007 by Tamika Lamison, grants film wishes for children with serious or life-threatening medical conditions. It collaborated with Andrew Conti, a 16-year-old who suffered from stage-four cancer, to get a zombie project called "The Black Ghiandola" off the ground, which Conti wrote with Scott Kosar of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and additional writing by Wash Westmoreland of "Still Alice." This short will be followed by "Last Life," a film about two.
