Re: “Confederate Memorial Day Service

Approximately 12, 000 of our soldiers lay buried in the Confederate section of the Oakwood Cemetery. Those gallant men came from all over the south to defend our country from an invasion by one of the most evil, vile, and corrupt governments in the world. God Bless them, everyone.

Re: “Confederate Chapel to Get Trippy Makeover During InLight

The desecrations of the Memorials to our War Dead are becoming commonplace and are being spurred on by the socialists and the communist party. The Virginia Museum of Fine art has been in the forefront of its hatred for American Soldiers. Both the Confederate Memorial Chapel and the R. E. Lee Camp Confederate Memorial Park has been desecrated by Alex Nyerges and his minions. The irony is that the entire block that the VMFA sits on was bought and paid for by Confederate Veterans and not a single penny of taxpayer funds from the Va. Treasury was used. The soldiers memorialized on those grounds fought to defend our State from an invasion of a vile, corrupt, and evil foreign government and they should be honored for their sacrifices.

Re: “The Meaning

I am appalled at the ignorance displayed by those who profess to be "expert" on this subject and even accept money from innocent students to spew forth their nonsense. The American Civil War began in 1775 and ended in 1783 with the treaty of Paris. We then declared that the thirteen original colonies each ought to be seperate, soveriegn, and independent states. Each state decided to join an association of states (called the United States) and reserved the right to secede from that association at any time they felt unhappy with that association. The War of Northern Aggression 1861-1865 was a totally different affair and certainly no a civil war - The southern states peacefully left that association and formed their own government. As a result, a corrupt and evil federal administration did everything in its power to force the Confederate States of America to return to its association with the United States. Believe it or not, the Lincoln administration even imprisoned the northern newspaper editors for pointing out his vile and evil actions. Legislators were imprisoned and held without trial. Lincoln even wanted the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court arrested because he had stated that Lincoln's actions were un-constitutional. He then actually invaded our country with armed soldiers to force his will on the innocent populace. What was the cause of the war? - The answer is an evil administration and its lust for money.
