Re: “Architecture Review: the Black History Museum

Well written. Armstrong is the is the first and oldest high school in Virginia for African-American students, dating to 1867, though the school has occupied at least six different buildings since it's launch. The museum's exterior space is far handsomer and more interesting than the "history" offered inside. Maybe I missed, but I saw nothing about the history of the building inside. Supposedly, this museum is supposed to tell the story of black people in Virginia. But that history is barely touched upon. Alas.

The school system 80 to 85 percent African-American. White, Latino and Asian students constitute at least 14 percent of enrollment
