While the current season of “American Idol” finds itself once again sorting out the commercial viability of yet another cluster of hopeful talent — among them a dueling piano player, a worship music director and an eye-liner applying tool who thinks he's Axl Rose — season three contestant Jennifer Hudson has found herself in the rare position of big-time success with her post-“Idol” career. Nabbing numerous accolades, including an Academy Award for her supporting role in the film “Dreamgirls” and a Grammy Award for her self-titled debut released late last year, the R&B and soul singer is finally taking part in her first official tour across the states. Co-headlined with the equally talented Robin Thicke, Hudson comes to the Landmark Theater on Sunday, April 19, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40-$60.
