Newly elected Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli greets a well-wisher just after his inauguration in January. He went on to make a splash nationwide for his stances against anti-discrimination protections for gay state employees, global warming research and the new health care law.

Photographer's note: This moment seems out of character for the attorney general, who has a stern exterior. I truly believe he was happy to see this person though, and not just playing politician.
