Re: “Fanhouse Saga Ends After Owner Removes Bar

Just because of a small restaurant's bar, a rumpus was raised by Diradour and the Fan Association for almost half a year, to attack the Fanhouse with the intent to force it to shut down.

The first round of battle was on February 7, at the city's
Planning Commission's public hearing. Charlie Diradour, chairman of the Fan Association, standing at the podium, in front of everyone present, called directly to the Planning Commission's chairman, who was presiding at the meeting, not to forget that he (the chairman) opposed granting permit to Fanhouse's first floor bar. The chairman nodded assent and did vote to oppose the permit. But the majority of the Planning Commission voted in favor of letting the owner keep his first floor bar. FANHOUSE TRIUMPHED, WINNING THE FIRST ROUND!

The second round of battle would be 7 days later, on February 14, at the City Council meeting, when the final decision would be made.

After their defeat, this 2nd battle would be crucial to Diradour and the Fan Association. They must now make full use of their last chance to turn the tide.

For this reason, they needed to hatch a well-conceived plot. They wanted to change the truth of the matter, to round up conspirators, to win over voting members, stir up intrigues and deceit the public.

To achieve this, they needed ample time, so the date was postponed continuously, from February 14, first to March 29, then to April and then to May, to prepare for the fight.
On top of all that, they spared no expense to hire a prominent lawyer to fight for them.

After preparing for 4 months, they finally thought they were ready and set June 13 as the day for the City Council meeting. The time has come for them to use power to smear and bully Fanhouse.

But, Fanhouse is intelligent. Fanhouse would not play into their hands nor be taken in. Fanhouse has the upper hand.

Although the owner removes the first floor bar, he wins the compassion, support and respect of the public (who are always on the side of the oppressed).

The owner is not to be humiliated. At the helm, taking the initiative, with the situation well in hand, liberated and elated, Zhao walks his own path!

Banded together on both political and financial self-interest, this clique had been busy for months, had plotted meticulously, had spent quite some money and had even hired a prominent "gun", but in the end was not given the
chance to act out their game!

Are they for the people? For the people of the Fan? Or are they serving only their own self-interest? It is very obvious to the majority of the public.

So, who is the loser and who is the winner?
