Re: “All Richmond Area Martin's Stores Up For Sale

I hate the fact that every good grocery store opens in the West End and there are like 1,000,000+ people to live in the rest the city that have to shop at Food Lion or Walmart .

What's wrong with it? Davis is a public servant and being a right wring advocate is not in his job description. DONT TREAD ON ME with your agenda.

Re: “Are Politics Threatening an Open Educational Environment in Hanover?

I have been in this county (more on that off) since 1972. We moved back here to raise our kids in 99. Unfortunately the tail end of their experience has been poisoned by this asshat. They have come home angry, upset and even crying over the past few years since this all started. They know Davis's daughter and yes she is widely known to spy on her teachers. she is both feared and disliked by many staff and students alike. Mr. Davis, why don't you spend some time learning to be a better parent to your own kid and leave ours alone with your pea-brained, backwards redneck BS. All of this started when you flipped out about a film that rightly attempted to shed light on the motivations of our enemy. My kid was sitting next to yours the day it happened, I heard all about it. No Mr Davis, they don't hate us for our freedom but if they did, your attacks on our freedom would serve their interest well. To me you are hardly any different than the Taliban, imposing your narrow world view on my kids. I cannot believe that you are a Marine either, you don't know even the most basic principles of warfare. Sun Tzu in The Art of War says-"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles." Yet you want our children to see the enemy as one dimensional like black and white cartoon characters. If you don't know your enemy, how in the name of God can you defeat him? This approach would doom future generations to ignorance and failure. The world is not black and white and we cannot live with our heads in the sand and our fingers on the trigger. I know this is all going over your neanderthal head but but you need to hear us, the true citizens of Hanover: LEAVE OUR KIDS OUR TEACHERS AND OUR SCHOOLS ALONE! WE DON'T WANT YOUR FASCISM!

Re: “Are Politics Threatening an Open Educational Environment in Hanover?

What did people think was going to happen when the Tea Party announced that the were going to take over the Hanover School board and defund them to down to nearly nothing? These guys are hardly any different from the Taliban. My kids go to this school and they say that its been incredibly frustrating and politically backwards since this all started. Also ALL of their favorite an brightest teachers have left or have plans to and we are left with the bottom of the barrel or just plain unhappy ones at this point. Its been a slow motion train wreck and our kids are the victims of this ignorance.

Re: “Goodbye Cantor, Hello Salahi

Why is a NOVA "green" group that's main focus has been to get better mass transit to fix NORTHERN VIRGINIA traffic sponsoring a candidate down in the 7th? Very fishy. I think its pretty clear that this "candidate" is nothing more than a plant by Brat to slit the moderate voters up to help him win. It seams transparent if you do a little fact checking. This guy is a straw man.
