Re: “Should Employers Be Listed on Virginia State Sex Offender Registry?

As others have already pointed out, making it impossible to be employed does nothing to make anyone safer. Laws already prohibit those on the registry from working with children, so that's not an issue. All that listing employers on the registry does is keep employers from hiring registrants. For anyone who has been in the system, whether registered or not, successful reentry into society depends on stable housing and employment, neither of which as possible for most offenders when the employer is listed, which subjects both the employer and the employee to the possibility of harassment. This a common sense measure. Vote yes.

Re: “Under Examination

I assume you refer to Sandra Fluke, the attorney, who advocated for birth control, which is a public health issue. She also advocates for women on domestic violence and human trafficking issues. If by "porn star lifestyle" you mean normal women who have a healthy sex life, then yes that would be her. Rush Limbaugh apologized for his rude and uncalled for comments. It should be embarrassing to have less class than Rush Limbaugh.

Re: “Under Examination

I've never known a woman seeking an abortion to "demand" anything, let alone that someone else "foot the bill," as GoPack so eloquently puts it. If they're "demanding" anything, it's to be left to make their own decisions in concert with their own beliefs and their physician's best medical judgement.

Zombies? Yes those would be the people who have been convinced that they somehow have the right to dictate what another person's medical decisions should be. They usually only decide to think when it's themselves, or someone they love, who has to make that decision.

Re: “Under Examination

As a former employee, volunteer, and recipient of GYN services, I'm thrilled to hear that things are moving forward in a positive direction. Keep up the good work!
