Since forming in 2007, Greensboro, N.C.’s six-piece, horn-driven rock band Holy Ghost Tent Revival has played around 300 dates a year. It’s gained a solid reputation for an eclectic sound and passionate performances full of Dixieland, folk and horn-driven rock music. In September the group released its third studio album, “Sweat Like the Old Days,” and in April will release a live album entitled “Alive at the Southern.” The band also is working on its next full-length album, which will be recorded this summer. Holy Ghost Tent Revival performs at Balliceaux on Wednesday, April 10, at 10 p.m. $5. balliceauxrva.com.
