Re: “"Richmond Pitbull Project" Hopes to Shine a Light on a Misunderstood Breed

Whoa, the ATTS? If anything, you wouldn't want a dog that 'passed' the ATTS. Never designed to test for suitability as a pet, it was designed for schutzhund work, police K9s, etc. A record of how the pit bull people have tried to manipulate this test is available to anyone who wants to see it.

Pits have earned their reputation, there's nothing to misunderstand when the breed is killing and maiming daily. No other breed in history has done the carnage being done by the pit bull breed, none. Those who push the breed don't care about the maulings, the deaths, from the breed, they don't care about putting others in jeopardy with their pits. If they did care, they wouldn't be pushing the breed, but rather would push for the extinction of the breed by regulating breeding. We have many breeds that have gone extinct, we don't miss them. And we won't miss a breed that was bred for one purpose - to kill, and that breed is the pit bull.
