Re: “Richmond Resistance Protest at Riverrock

Gee, thanks, trust fund activists.

Following the misguided agenda promoted by Richmond Resistance means energy costs that will crush the middle class and starve the poor. Strip mining coal is unnecessary, but nuclear must be part of any rational energy policy (as is re-processing of nuclear material). But radicals like RR won't listen to reason or face reality, even as they plan protests on their Mac Books and coordinate from their iPhones.

Dominion is a highly regulated utility, and they comply with state regulators as they develop strategies for meeting the energy demands of the citizens. How do you suppose the regulators would react if Dominion requested a 740% rate increase so they could shut down all the nuclear and coal plants and buy a bunch of solar arrays and wind turbines from China and deploy them all along Virginia Beach and the peaks of the Blue Ridge mountains?
