Halloween Events A-Plenty

night_pumpkin.jpg
It's downright scary how much stuff is going on this Halloween. There are monster-themed music bashes to consider such as the Night of Living Day Bands at Strange Matter, Three Sheets to the Wind at Capital Ale House, the Mantras and Aqueous at the Broadberry, and Vexine at Poe's Pub. If none of that horror appeals to you, there's the Voodoo Dolls Halloween Extravaganza at Babe's in Carytown, the Return of the Creepshow Peepshow at Gallery5, Dead Man's Ball at Bandito's, Spooky Throttle 8 at the Canal Club and the All Saints Theater Company's ninth annual Halloween parade in Monroe Park. Of course there's always the option of staying home, but why waste this gloriously gory, good-natured night? My advice is to get out. Because on Halloween, the calls are always coming from inside the house. For the schedule of Halloween happenings, check our full calendar listings.
