UR’s Global Music Series has been bringing some interesting international artists to Richmond. Born in Lattakia, Syria, Bahloul (Hussam Jefee-Bahloul) is a musician, poet, writer and performance artist who uses traditional and contemporary instruments as well as his powerful vocals to “tell stories of identity, belonging and love.” And you can dance to it. 7:30 p.m. Free. richmond.edu.
