Library of Virginia senior reference archivist Dawn Tinnell will provide an overview of cemetery records and other related death records and how they can help with genealogical research. Virginia Commonwealth University professor of history Ryan K. Smith will give examples of what he has found in cemetery records and related death records and how those findings relate to what can be discovered in the cemeteries themselves.
