Known as a hub for diverse circles of artists since 2005, Gallery5 will be celebrating during First Fridays at its famous Jackson Ward spot. There will be music from Ben Sheppard, Dumb Waiter, Whatever Honey and Prabir Trio, with other performances including Cantestorias by Bread and Puppet Theater, burlesque by Melody Magpie, and belly dancing by EarthDreams cast members. The upstairs art show is “Esotericae,” a showcase of occult-inspired surreal art. But the big treat may be outside: The Party Liberation Front’s Pyro Circus Street Show along the side street will provide a freaky mix of fire performance and art that should catch your attention. 7 p.m. to midnight.
